Emmy and Ringo Award-winning cartoonist Dean Haspiel is best known for creating BILLY DOGMA, THE RED HOOK, and COVID COP. Collaborating with Harvey Pekar and Jonathan Ames, and illustrating for HBO's BORED TO DEATH. His published work includes writing and drawing for Marvel, DC/Vertigo, Archie, Image, and Webtoon. In addition, Haspiel is an accomplished playwright, emerging filmmaker, and Yaddo fellow. He lives in Brooklyn, NY.

My career in comics began in 1986 when I first joined Mirage Studios (the owner and publisher of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles). At the time I came on board, things were really beginning to take off for the TMNTs and their creators, Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird. In an effort to ease the growing workload, others jumped in, and before long, we were a small but real publishing and licensing empire.

As for myself, I remained dedicated to the comics, which continued to be black and white. My first job was inking, which then grew into penciling and later writing for the main title from 1993-95. These books were officially known as Volume 2. Besides volume 2, I wrote and illustrated many sub-titles (including Tales of the TMNT), various mini-series, and one-shots. It was a crazy, busy time. 32 issues comprised volume 4 (last of the Mirage TMNT books, 2001-2014); on that run, I was the exclusive penciler.

My days at Mirage Studios officially ended in 2014, years after the TMNTs were sold to Viacom/Nickelodeon (2009). In total, I had been on the Turtles for 28 years, making me one of the rare artists having the longest run with a single property.

Now, many years later, I remain a professional comic book writer and artist. I still self-publish, even to this day, and I am the only remaining Mirage artist to do so. Under my name, I release new comic book content every year. A list of my titles are as follows: GUZZI LEMANS, A WALK THROUGH DINOSAURLAND, DRAGONFLY, HELLRIDE, DINOSAUR HEAD CAT, and THE BOX CITY WALLOPS.

Jim Rugg is an Eisner and Ignatz Award-winning cartoonist, designer, zinemaker, and illustrator. His books include CONSPIRACY COMICS, TRUE CRIME COMICS, 1986 ZINE, HULK GRAND DESIGN, STREET ANGEL, THE PLAIN JANES, BW, AFRODISIAC, SUPERMAG, OCTOBRIANA 1976, and RAMBO 3.5. He is the co-creator of YouTube's Cartoonist Kayfabe channel. His comics are part of the Smithsonian permanent collection and the National Archives. He taught visual storytelling at Denmark's School of Visual Arts and the Animation Workshop. He loves comic books, zines, lettering, podcasts, running, pro-wrestling, pizza, and cats. Rugg lives and draws in Pittsburgh.

Ed Piskor was a cartoonist from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, most notably for his works HIP HOP FAMILY TREE, X-MEN GRAND, RED ROOM, and SWITCHBLADE SHORTIES. Ed passed away on April 1, 2024. Since then, the family of Ed Piskor has banded together and created the Ed Piskor Legacy. Since the creation of the Legacy, they have crowdfunded SWITCHBLADE SHORTIES and ran a very successful memorial Eddie P Comic Con, raising money for the 988 Crisis Hotline.

Tom Scioli is a world-renowned contemporary writer and artist who specializes in comics and graphic novels. He’s the author and illustrator of GODZILLA’S MONSTERPIECE THEATRE, I AM STAN: A GRAPHIC BIOGRAPHY OF THE LEGENDARY STAN LEE, JACK KIRBY: THE EPIC LIFE OF THE KING OF COMICS as well as several science-fiction and superhero originals like AMERICAN BARBARIAN, THE MYTH OF 8-OPUS, and GODLAND. He has reinvented established series with FANTASTIC FOUR: GRAND DESIGN, SUPER POWERS, TRANSFORMERS VS G.I. JOE, and a cyberpunk reimagining ofGO-BOTS. He is known for his singular drawing style, kinetic page layouts, and imaginative writing. He's one of a small number of auteur cartoonists who writes, draws, colors, and hand-letters his comics. He’s also the host of the pop culture-focused video series, The Total Recall Show.

According to her mother, Heather Antos drew comics before she even knew what a comic book was. Since then, she has gone on to become an awarding-winning comic book editor, writer, and illustrator most known for her work on Marvel's STAR WARS and DEADPOOL lines, as well as one of the co-creators of GWENPOOL. She also became the first ever female Editor-In-Chief in all of eSports media in 2019 when she joined Unikrn. Her work on Marvel's DOCTOR APHRA won a GLAAD award for Outstanding Representation in a Comic book in 2020. She currently oversees the critically-acclaimed and Eisner-Nominated STAR TREK line as Group Editor of Licensing at IDW Publishing.

Heyo, it's ya friendly neighborhood Javi! An NYC-based punk who writes, draws, and letters all their own stories. Never imagining they'd try their hand at art, Javi started off as a writer but slowly taught himself to draw. Since then, Javi has had two publications through Lesser Known Comics and their Apollo City Comics imprint, another two publications prepped with the same team for the following year, and the work has begun on their first full-length series!

John Gebbia is an alumnus of the Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art and went on to pencil several books for Slave Labor Graphics. After pursuing freelance projects in a number of artistic fields including painting, music and graphic design, he decided to return to his true passion, illustrating comics and making toys.

Johnny C is a Creative Writer, Director, & Producer from Boston, MA. He's produced and worked on the comics: SURROUNDED BY DEATH, SARTANA, THE POND, CTHULHU IS HARD TO SPELL VOL 1 – 3, WE SUCK AT COMICS VOL 1 & 2. Johnny is also the co-host at Indie Comics Relay on YouTube.

Joel is a comic book scholar earning his PhD Media Studies at the University of Colorado-Boulder. He has presented at SDCC, Denver FanExpo, the Pop Culture Association, and even international conferences in Belgium and Italy. Joel is the author/creator of DISINTER, an archeology-themed horror that has found its home on Kickstarter.

John Mungiello is not an Eisner Award-winning cartoonist, but he is a cartoonist and art teacher, which is good enough...for now. He is the author and artist of the graphic novel EVE, due out next holiday. He currently lives and works in Riverdale, NJ, with his wife, Laura, and their forty houseplants. His next graphic novel will be CRAWLER AND THE DEADLY DOZEN, published by New Friday. Stay tuned.

Kurt Brugel is an artist and podcaster known for CROM THE BARBARIAN and TURBO PIT-FIGHTER. He hosts the CROM Update podcast and co-hosts the Making Turbo Pit-fighter Comic podcast with Jake Jacobs.

Keith Gleason began his career at the Joe Kubert School in 1996 and has been making comic books ever since. Sally Peck is a professional graphic designer and illustrator from Upstate, NY. Her independent comic series, WITCHABOOS, can be best described as a "gross-out comic for the girls, gays, and theys.

Shane Moore is a co-founder of Electro-Magnetic Press, a publishing platform focused on comic books. He is the artist and collaborator on EMP’s flagship book, the OMENS. Upon its completion in 2023, Shane took on all roles to complete the following project: MY NAME IS LADY. 

Shawn Prairie is a comic artist and illustrator based in western Massachusetts.His work has been described as "cartoon horror," which he wholly embraces. His art is filled with distortions, aberrations , and creatures that shouldn't exist. He doesn't take these things wholly seriously,so each one is tinged with a dark sense of humor. He strives for creativity and hopes to inspire the people around him to do the same. The world can always use more artists' voices.

Sarah Cooke is a comics writer. She won Mad Cave's 2023 Talent Search and the 2023 Negative Space Women's Comic Book Writing Competition. Her published works include No SPELL LASTS FOREVER, OLIVE AND THE OGRE, and more.

Tom has published collections of poetry, including GUANYIN BY THE SEA (Alien Buddha Press, 2023) and a novella, THE BOXCAR BOP! (2018). He also writes the ALL-NEW UNION from Junction City Comics. His newest comic, JUNCTION JONES, and the CORDUROY CONSPIRACY are waiting to be published.

Thony Aiuppy is a Floridian cartoonist and zinester. He creates sci-fantasy, horror, and cryptic tales. His comics have been featured in CLUSTERFUX COMIX, MUNICIPAL THREAT, and other publications.

Tony Sedani is an indie comic creator who sleeps sometimes. His comic works include RETURN TO RANDER, SKIN DEEP, WEIRD SHIT and has worked on other books including TALES TO ENLIGHTEN and THE TICK.

Valita likes to draw and lives in a willow tree with her partner, some plants, a lazy gray cat, and their very cute & small dog Critter.

Known best for her illustrations, Vel is the founder of ArtScribbli studio, where she creates character concepts, video tutorials, and comics. Inspired by DnD campaigns, her first continuous work is a fantasy comic, HUNTERS KEEP on Line Webtoon.

Kristin Laflin and Dylan Archbold are 20-year veterans of comic and creative work. They have produced comics and writing professionally, and specialize in sci-fi/fantasy action works. They like cats.

Wesley Griffith is a cartoonist and graphic designer living in Portland, Oregon. He studied graphic design at Arizona State University. He is the creator of such comics as THUNDERBEAST, GROTESK, and THE JUMP. He enjoys running and hopes to visit Japan one day.
